Saturday 1st July 2017
The countdown begins!
Kenilworth Carnival raises funds for local charities while bringing the town together to share in a day of family fun. It’s one of the main highlights on the town calendar and one of only a handful of carnivals still in existence. Held on the first Saturday in each July, Kenilworth Carnival features a street procession with floats, walkers and marching bands, led by the Carnival Queen and her attendants. The Procession leaves Kenilworth Castle at 1pm and is followed by entertainments, stalls and a funfair in Abbey Fields.
The Carnival Grand Prize Draw
Don’t forget to buy your tickets for the Carnival Grand Draw, which will be made in the afternoon on Carnival Day, Saturday 1st July. Tickets (£1 per book), will be sold by the Carnival Committee at various town centre venues in the run-up to Carnival Day. Please keep a look out for us!
Kenilworth Carnival 2017 is going to be our biggest and best yet!
Carnival Day last year was a gorgeous sunny day enjoyed by thousands and a huge success.
We’d like to say a huge ‘thank you’ to all of our sponsors, and Warwickshire Police for their continued support. We really couldn’t do it without you!
